TGIF! I never thought I'd see Friday, this week has been brutal! Now I'll stop complaining, let's talk about Spring. Grab that cup of coffee and pull up a chair.
With the warm weather we've had around here this week, I've caught the Spring itch...haha! Spring is one of my favorite seasons, I love being able to open the windows to smell the fresh air, watching the tulips pop up and everything coming back to life. Of course my favorite part is bringing Springs beautiful colors indoors. I love to add little touches through out my house so my wheels started spinning about decorating for Spring. I happen to stop in Dollar Tree to pick up some batteries for hubby and while I was browsing the aisles I came across the most beautiful pink roses in their craft section. I was amazed how beautiful these were and of course for only a dollar I grabbed two bunches. My mind started spinning with ideas of how I can use these beautiful roses to incorporate in my Spring Décor. I continued to browse the aisles and grabbed a pretty glass vase and some glass stones which I decided would be perfect to but together a small arrangement with.
Now this is a pretty simple and cheap DIY that only took about 5 minutes! So here is what I did, I cut apart one bunch of roses which left me with six stems, not bad for a dollar, right? Then I filled the vase with the two packs of glass stones. The stones gave me a good base to stick the roses in as well as gives the illusion of water. Then I started arranging the roses, I decided to cut the leaves off the stems, this gave the roses a cleaner look. I played around with how I wanted to arrange the roses and found bending the bottom of the stems into a small loop gave them more stability when arranging them into the rocks. Once I had them in place I fluffed the petals and ta-da!! What a beautiful arrangement for only $5.00.....the best part is I only used one of the bunches and have enough to do a second one.....SCORE!!
I hope you enjoyed this inexpensive DIY!! (Check out IG stories for the tutorial)

Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
xoxo,
Sandy
